What we collect
When you sign in with Google we store your email and a stable user ID so we can sync your tip log and subscription status across devices. Saved tips, notes, and phrasebook entries are stored under your account. If you use the Travel Vault, photos and details you choose to save — including identification documents, boarding passes, hotel and car-rental confirmations, lounge access info, travel insurance documents, and TSA PreCheck / Global Entry numbers — are stored under your account and visible only to you when signed in.
What we don’t collect
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your tip notes or vault contents to train AI models. Translations, photo-ID scans, boarding-pass scans, insurance scans, and menu/receipt scans are passed to our AI provider (Google Gemini) for one-time field extraction only and aren’t retained beyond that request.
Payments
On iOS, payments are handled by Apple. On the web, payments are handled by our payment processor. TipLingo does not store full payment card numbers.
